Ford Transit Connect Van
As Britain’s most popular van, the Ford Transit is well-known for its everyday usability and capabilities. The Ford Connect is a smaller version of the traditional Ford Transit, but delivers in its expectations as a Ford vehicle, being awarded International Van of the Year 2014.
Its fuel economy and emissions are impressive, and although smaller than the traditional Transit, there’s plenty of room for cargo. The van has a secure bulkhead - the partition between the driver’s part of the vehicle and the cargo space – ensuring driver and passenger safety from unsecured loads in the back area of the van. The van is also lined with plywood, to keep noise to a minimum, and to ensure goods are protected from the sides of the vehicle’s interior. There is also a stereo to keep any noise from the cargo bay to a minimum.
There are doors to the side and rear, ensuring goods in the back are easy to access, and the remote central locking means the vehicle can be locked easily if your hands are full when leaving the vehicle. The Connect Van also has an alarm, so you can be rest-assured you’ll know if your goods are being targeted if the vehicle becomes insecure.
