Famous for having four churches in the village since history records began, one of its existing complete churches is Saint Peter’s - a beautiful and important Arts and Crafts church designed by J.P. Seddon and completed in 1875.

Designed in a gothic style, with its contemporary tiles, red and white brick chequer pattern, stained glass, mosaic work, and imposing tall spire, it really is a sight to behold.
