As we head into the Christmas month, many people will be thinking about taking some time off work and enjoying the festivities which will soon be upon us. After the chaos that is Christmas shopping, food preparation and tree decorating, people will be hoping to spend some enjoyable and relaxing time with friends and family. However, for many businesses, now is not the time to be slowing down and taking it easy. Now is the time to be selling to customers old and new, and ensuring that stock is plentiful and delivered on time. If the service your business can provide is good, then those new customers may become repeat customers – so now is the time to be making that all-important first impression!

The British actor Martin Benson, who starred in films such as Goldfinger, Cleopatra, Ivanhoe, and Angela’s Ashes, lived and died in the village. And parts of the film The Dirty Dozen were filmed in the village and surrounding areas.
