The three peaks challenge

St Albans Car and Van Hire come to the rescue of Green watch Hemel Hempstead fire service. but we will let them tell you the story!

"Our team of 12 fire-fighters from Hemel Hempstead Fire Station entered the 3 peaks challenge to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity. The event was in June 2013. A last minute injury to one of our support team meant we could no longer travel in the two vehicles we had arranged to use. To ensure our participation in the event we had to find a large minibus at short notice. This was proving to be a difficult task until we called St Albans Car and Van Hire. Once we explained our situation they told us they would love to help. They provided us with a 15 seat minibus and did us a great deal on price too. The minibus was clean and drove really well taking us to Fort William in Scotland so we could climb Ben Nevis. We then travelled to the Lake District to climb Scarfell Pike and from there to North Wales to scale Snowden before returning to Hemel Hempstead. We could not fault the vehicle or service that St Albans Car and Van Hire gave us, we will be returning for a bus to do it again next year!"
